Exercise One~Openers
Week one’s assignment.
These are the 12 openers I have come up with, hope they are short and simple.
1) Riven grips his Tennis racket tightly.
2) With a confident smile, Tom proceeds to type on his computer.
3) Christin utters some unintelligible sentences.
4) Mr Lim frowns in disgust at the inpromptu appearance of John.
5) Keith clenches his fist, glaring at the very man who has provoked him.
6) Rienna is trembling profusely as she approaches the middle of the stage.
7) Sapphire flashes an alluring smile at the stranger.
8 ) Tommy goes on postal at the sight of the hooded vigilante.
9) The hooded stranger subtly unveils himself to his imminent victim.
10) John glances at him with absolute disdain.
11) Holding a wooden stick, Steven approaches the dog with a malicious smirk.
12) The cannibal stares at his prey, bloodlust prevalent in his eyes.

I feel that you could end the openers at a point which would serve a hook to the continuation of the rest of the tale. E.g Keith clenches his fist, glaring at (the very man who has provoked him). Leave out the bits in the bracket.
